The Shapeshifters je současný alias anglického house producenta Simona Marlina a bývalého dua zahrnujícího Marlina a švédského producenta Maxe Reicha z Göteborgu. The Shapeshifters jsou podepsáni pod Defected Records od roku 2008 a duo bylo předtím podepsáno pod labelem Positiva. Nejvíce se proslavili svým debutovým singlem „Lola’s Theme“, který se v červenci 2004 umístil na 1. místě UK Singles Chart.

Jejich druhý singl, „Back to Basics“, byl vydán v březnu 2005 a dosáhl na 10. místo britského žebříčku, zatímco třetí singl „Incredible“ dosáhl na 12. místo. Jejich debutové album Sound Advice vyšlo v březnu 2006 a dosáhlo vrcholu číslo 76 v UK Albums Chart, než byl vydán ve Spojených státech na Ultra Records v září 2006. Čtvrtý singl se jmenoval „Sensitivity“ a v červenci 2006 se umístil na 40. místě.

The Shapeshifters vystoupí na DupleX, The Rooftop Venue 22. července 2022. Formování nočního života v České republice díky spolupráci s nejlepšími světovými DJs a interprety umožňuje Duplexu nastavit měřítko pro noční život v Evropě a můžete očekávat jen další a další interprety v roce 2022. The Shapeshifters bude podporován nejlepšími rezidentními DJs DupleXu, kteří budou zveřejněni na události na Facebooku v nadcházejících týdnech.

The Shapeshifters is the current alias of English house producer Simon Marlin and a former duo comprising Marlin and Swedish producer Max Reich, from Gothenburg. The Shapeshifters have been signed to Defected Records since 2008, and the duo were previously signed to Positiva. They are best known for their debut single “Lola’s Theme”, which went to No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2004.

Their second single, “Back to Basics”, was released in March 2005 and reached number 10 on the UK chart, while the third single “Incredible” reached number 12. Their debut album, Sound Advice, was released in March 2006 and peaked at number 76 in the UK Albums Chart, before being released in the United States on Ultra Records in September 2006. The fourth single which featured Nile Rodgers of Chic, was called “Sensitivity” and charted at number 40 in July 2006.

The Shapeshifters will perform at DupleX, The Rooftop Venue on July 22nd, 2022. Leading the nightlife scene in Czech Republic with collaborations with the worlds best DJs and performers allows Duplex to set a benchmark for nightlife in Europe and you can only expect more and more in 2022. The Shapeshifters will be supported by very best of DupleX resident DJs to be released on the Facebook event in upcoming weeks.
