Enthusiasts of the electronic music realm, it’s often that we encounter the term ‘legend’ loosely used. However, we assure you that the anticipation of introducing a true legend is no understatement! Prepare for an extraordinary event with the revered English record producer and trance DJ, the inimitable Paul Oakenfold!!!

This illustrious figure is a nominee of the Grammy Award thrice and the World Music Awards twice. Having been acclaimed as the world’s No. 1 DJ in 1998 and 1999 by DJ Magazine, his star power is undeniable.

Set to grace Prague on August 18th, 2023, at DupleX, The Rooftop Club on Wenceslas Square, Paul Oakenfold will be the latest sensation to join our series, DupleX Presents – the platform that continually delivers the finest talents from the global electronic music scene!

Attempting to summarize a career as profound as Paul Oakenfold’s is indeed a daunting task. This titan of the electronic music industry has, for over three decades, influenced, moulded, and championed the genre, continuing to be a pivotal figure in the international music arena.

Paul Oakenfold debuted at DupleX, The Rooftop club in Prague, on March 7th, 2020. He has frequented the Czech Republic with his acclaimed DJ sets before, last gracing Sázavafest in 2012, and even earlier in 2009, acting as a supporting DJ for Madonna and at the Mácháč festival. However, his upcoming performance promises to be uniquely riveting as he’s set to provide an immersive, awe-inspiring, and intimate club show, Stay tuned for the revelation of the supporting DJs from the Czech scene, which we’ll progressively announce on our Facebook event page

Paul Oakenfold’s repertoire includes producing for powerhouses like U2, Madonna, and The Happy Mondays, in addition to releasing three acclaimed albums under his name. Having remixed for Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, and Justin Timberlake, and releasing over 20 DJ mix compilations, his influence permeates the music industry. Paul Oakenfold’s diverse skills have led him from world-renowned DJ booths and festivals to Hollywood studios, where he’s crafted soundtracks for box office hits including The Bourne Identity, Matrix Reloaded, Shrek 2, Swordfish, and Collateral.
